AMD is preparing to launch a new rDNA 2 graphics card model, namely radeon RX 6700, this month. Amd radeon RX 6700 will be a reduced version of the radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card. It will be built on the same Navi 22 GPU, but with different SKU configurations.
The AMD radeon RX 6700 XT has 2560 cores, but the Navi 22 XL GPU on the RX 6700 will only enable 36 computing units, a total of 2304 cores. The GPU will also have 80mb of infinity cache, which is less than 96MB of the full Navi 22 GPU.
The card will also use a 160 bit memory bus and be equipped with 10GB of gddr6 memory, while the XT model provides 12gb and 192 bits. Most RX 6700 board designs only need an 8-pin connector to supply power because they work under a TBP of about 200W. The display output port will consist of three DP 1.4 and one HDMI interface.
In terms of manufacturers, sapphire seems to be developing two models, one is the public version setting, and the other is the pulse variant. Both are dual slot and dual fan designs and will run at 2330 MHz game clock and 2495 MHz boost clock. The memory runs at 16gbps, so you can finally get 320gb/s bandwidth.
According to cowcotland, the AMD radeon RX 6700 graphics card is expected to be launched on June 9 at a price of about 550 euros. This is the third Navi 22 variant in the field of DIY. On the other hand, amd recently launched a faster Rx 6750 XT graphics card.
